Note: This analysis of Father will focus on his appearances from the Codename: Kids Next Door show and comics, but will also include abilities that he’s shown to have in other media, such as the video games.
Background
The man known as Father is one of the biggest evils in the entire world, but before that, he was born in England as cowardly Benedict Uno, son to the evilest man alive, who was also a big jerk with demonic powers. This tyrannic being, known as Grandfather, would rule the world and cause nothing but misery for children. He forced them to work in his tapioca factories, and this insane evil caused nothing but fear for Ben. Luckily, his brother Monty was more optimistic, and after discovering a secret treehouse, he found the Book of KND, a book written by operatives of Kids Next Door, an organization full of kids who combated evil teens and adults to protect children around the world.
The Book of KND is what inspired Monty to rise up against Grandfather, but Ben, due to his cowardice, refused to help, thinking his brother stood no chance. However, thanks to Monty’s newfound skills and tactics that he learned within the Book of KND, as well as the 7th age of the Kids Next Door beginning, more and more kids fought against Grandfather and eventually defeated him, erasing his memories. Monty, under the code name Numbuh 0, would become a legend for all future operatives, with some even saying his existence was nothing but a myth.
Despite Ben’s hatred for his father, he would take up the mantle of ultimate evil years later, causing children to suffer. He gained demonic powers through his evil ways just like his father, and he would use those powers and his resources under the alias of Father in many attempts to destroy the Kids Next Door and rule the world. With his kidnapped and brainwashed Delightful Children From Down The Lane, he would actually end up fighting his brother’s son, Nigel Uno, known by his code name Numbuh 1, and his team on several occasions. Though they would end up assisting each other once Father brought back Grandfather’s memories, as the old timer would betray his son. After Grandfather’s second defeat, Father still fought for what he sought: the complete obliteration of the Kids Next Door.

Powers & Abilities
Pyrokinesis
Father’s most used ability is his power to control fire, which he can use in several ways. He can surround himself in flames, trap things in fiery cages, launch fireballs, detonate massive fiery explosions around himself, send out concentrated beams of fire to melt through most defensive things, set anything he touches aflame, shoot streams of flames, enhance and extend the range of his physical strikes, erupt fire from the ground, cause things to ignite, create fiery hands to grab and trap enemies, generate heat, increase his speed briefly by jetting himself forward with flames, or boost himself into the air while surrounded in fire. He can also transform into fire and fly through the air.
His flames are so potent, they can melt or burn things in an instant. Father’s fire powers become much stronger the angrier or more excited he gets, though this does mean that his flames become weaker if he’s tired and not motivated. He can extinguish his flames whenever he wants, and even prevent things from being burned by his fire. His pyrokinetic abilities also make him resistant to high heat and fire, and fires that are created and burn around him power him up.

Umbrakinesis
Father has minor control over darkness, which he uses to manipulate shadows to create his silhouette suit.
Levitation
Telekinesis
Father can control things’ movements with the power of his mind, including throwing or using objects to fight against enemies from afar with. He can also use it to activate things like bombs.
Duplication
Father can duplicate himself dozens of times over to create fake identical copies that share his abilities, which can be used to trick or overwhelm enemies. They disappear in a cloud of smoke when attacked.
Weather Manipulation
It’s heavily implied by the Delightful Children From Down The Lane that Father can manipulate the weather, which he can do to create thunderstorms in an instant.
Shapeshifting
Father is capable of shapeshifting his form in many different ways. He can make himself look and sound like someone else, which he can do to deceive others, but he can also transform into a devil with fangs to appear scarier or a fireball to make his flames hotter and tackle enemies. However, Father’s deadliest form is a winged dragon, which can bite ferociously, attack with the claws on his hands or feet, or breathe a stream of fire powerful enough to penetrate through the Earth.

Weaknesses
Father can become easily angered, and while this makes his flames even deadlier, it also has made him lose on many occasions due to him losing control over his powers and having others use that against him. He’s also vulnerable to the cold and water due to his fiery abilities, and his flames become weaker as a result, even going completely out if he’s exposed to too much of it. His flames can also become weaker if he’s tired and not motivated. Also, while his duplicates look identical to him, one can find the real him by tracking his DNA. Lastly, he hates broccoli and has lost and been traumatized before due to being threatened with it.
