Background
At the age of 15, Juri Han was a practitioner of taekwondo. Living with her parents, she had a pretty nice life. However, when her prosecutor father started targeting the evil organization Shadaloo, Juri and her parents were kidnapped. While in captivity, her mother and father were killed and she lost her left eye.
Due to this traumatizing experience, Juri became sadistic and sought revenge against Shadaloo, including their boss M. Bison. After training even harder to master taekwondo, she joined up with S.I.N., the weapons division of Shadaloo. Seth, the leader of S.I.N., granted Juri a new eye called the Feng Shui Engine, which boosted her fighting potential immensely. After testing out her new eye and encountering Chun-Li, Guile, and Cammy, Seth then ordered Juri to join his tournament as a part of his plan.
But as expected from from someone whose parents were killed by the organization she works at, Juri secretly held her own agenda and eventually got Seth and the thought to be dead Bison to fight each other. After Seth was defeated, Juri told her all about her little plan before leaving him for dead.
Juri did manage to track Bison down and fight him, but was defeated and stripped of her Feng Shui Engine. She managed to find a replacement, albeit a weaker model in an old S.I.N. laboratory. Wanting to destroy Shadaloo, a woman named Kolin approached Juri and offered her a spot in her group called the Illuminati to take it down. After awhile, Juri accepted the offer. Joining this group actually meant she would be joining forces with people like Chun-Li and Cammy, who would normally consider her an enemy. While Juri herself doesn’t kill off Bison, Ryu does, finishing off Shadaloo for good.

Equipment
Feng Shui Engine
A small device located in Juri’s left eye socket that amplifies her fighting potential via a surge of ki when activated. The ki it produces is so intense that it can stop bullets and create gigantic explosions. Upon activation, Juri is able to attack stronger and faster, release ki waves through her strikes, or kick up a vacuum around her feet that slowly drains the energy away from her opponent. It is also capable of locating energy signatures. However, after being defeated by Bison, he stole it, stripping away Juri’s greatest asset. She did indeed get a new one later on, but it was a weaker model. Due to this, whenever Juri activates her newer engine, the length of its effects will decrease every time she attacks.
Moveset
Unique Attacks
As the name would apply, Juri has a set of normal attacks that are unique to her and no one else. The following is a list of all the unique attacks Juri can perform:
- Sekku: Juri jumps forward and hits her opponent with a roundhouse kick.
- Tojushu: Juri jumps in the air before stomping down on her opponent.
- Korenzan: Juri kicks straight up at her opponent before bringing her leg back down with an axe kick.
- Senkaikyaku: Juri side flips forward before kicking down at her opponent.
- Kyoretsushu: Juri elbows her opponent in the stomach before kicking them in the head.
- Enkushu: Juri jumps in the air and punches down at her opponent before kicking them.
Normal Throws
Due to her sadistic nature, Juri can devastate her opponent with a few different types of brutal throws using her taekwondo skills. The following is a list of all the normal throws Juri can perform:
- Karen Geri: Juri grabs her opponent with her foot before kneeing them in the face and launching them away with a reverse side kick.
- Assatsu Geri: Juri grabs her opponent with her foot before putting them on the ground and stomping on them three times.
- Chisenkyaku: Juri grabs her opponent with her foot before putting them on the ground, stomping on their neck, and twisting her foot to break it.
- Kaeikyaku: Juri grabs her opponent with her foot before moving them behind her and hitting them with a spinning roundhouse kick.
- Zankasen: Juri jumps in the air and grabs her aerial opponent before jumping off of them, flipping forward, and axe kicking them down to the ground.
Special Attacks
Juri has several attacks that have their own special properties that make them more useful and versatile than the rest of her moveset. Most of these attacks also have enhanced versions called EX Specials, which makes them stronger and may give them new attributes. The following is a list of all the special attacks Juri can perform:
- Fuhajin: Juri kicks straight up while surrounding her foot with ki. This gives her the ability to fire ki projectiles after doing certain kicking motions, whether they be low, medium, or high. Juri can store up to three of these and the initial kick is capable of negating projectiles. The projectiles don’t go far though, dissipating after they reach a certain distance. The EX versions all hit multiple times.
- Senpusha: Juri performs a pinwheel kick to knock her opponent back. She can go far and deal more hits and is able to dash cancel it after it makes contact with her opponent. The EX version makes her kicks reach farther and hit more at the cost of not moving very far.
- Shikusen: Juri jumps in the air and performs a flying kick at the opponent. She can then follow up the initial hit with a barrage of kicks called the 2nd Impact and 3rd Strike. Juri can also do a similar set of follow-up kicks called the Shirensen. The EX version bounces her opponent off a wall so she can start or continue a combo.
- Kasatushi: Juri taunts her opponent to try to get them to hit her, and if they do, she will take damage in exchange for being able to quickly dart forward, backward, or into the air. She can even dash behind her opponent to catch them off guard. After taking an attack, Juri will slowly regain her lost health as long as she doesn’t get hit again. The EX versions all travel much farther upon getting hit.
- Jafuten: Juri surrounds her feet in ki, allowing her to be able to perform various different attacks. Again, she is able to fire Fuhajins, but she is also able to use the Fusatsusen, which are multiple different types of ki imbued kicks, and the Shotenha, which is a ki imbued frontwards kick that launches the opponent into the air. Juri can also quickly store up to three of these and string the different attacks together.
- Fuharenkyaku: Juri kicks straight up while surrounding her foot with ki. This gives her the ability to perform three different follow ups. The first one is a low ki projectile that doesn’t go very far, the second one is a jumping axe kick, and the last one is two far-reaching side kicks. All three follow ups can be stored up together and then comboed into each other in any order. The initial kick is also capable of negating projectiles. When Juri activates her Feng Shui Engine, she doesn’t have to store up the follow ups to use them. The EX version automatically charges all three kicks and chains them all together and negates projectiles.
- Tensenrin: Juri performs a pinwheel kick that can knock her opponent out of the air. She can rise many feet into the air to reach even higher and hit her opponent more times. The EX version makes Juri go as high as she can go while bringing them back down to the ground with an axe kick.
- Ryodansatsu: Juri flips forward and attacks her opponent with an axe kick. She can flip incredibly far, and using it can also make her avoid projectiles. The EX version launches her opponent high into the air for a potential combo.
Misc. Attacks
Juri has a few more attacks that just don’t fit into any of her other categories. They are very unique compared to the rest of her moveset. The following is a list of all the miscellaneous attacks Juri can perform:
- Focus Attack: Juri charges up before flipping sideways and kicking downwards at her opponent, stunning them for a few seconds and opening them up for a combo. She can charge up the attack to make it deal more damage and increase the stun time, and is able to endure one of her opponent’s attacks before counterattacking. After she takes an attack, Juri will slowly regain her lost health as long as she doesn’t get hit again. She is also able to cancel the move with a dash, and can do it both before or after the attack comes out. Juri can also perform a variation called the Red Focus Attack, which lets her endure multiple attacks from her opponent instead of just one.
- Kasatsushu: Juri charges up before launching herself at her opponent, going behind and attacking them with a kick. She can charge it up longer to dash faster, farther, and hit harder, cancel her movement mid-dash, or store her charge up for later use. Juri can also avoid projectiles when she dashes towards them.
- Kaisenrenkyaku: Juri blocks an attack before activating her Feng Shui Engine and counterattacking by horizontally spinning her legs, bringing both herself and her opponent into the air. The attack itself doesn’t deal confirmed damage, so it’s more so used for Juri to get her opponent off her and create space between them.
Super Attacks
Juri is capable of using multiple super moves that are much stronger than the rest of her moveset. These moves involve her doing either a highly damaging combo or one massively strong attack. The following is a list of all the super moves Juri can perform:
- Fuharenjin: Juri launches a flurry of Fuhajins at multiple different angles that all combo into each other, sending her opponent into the air if they hit.
- Rochumou: Juri slide kicks forward at her opponent. If she hits them, she’ll grab them before hitting them with an onslaught of ki infused kicks and Fuhajins.
- Kaisen Dankairaku: Juri activates her Feng Shui Engine before propelling herself into the air by horizontally spinning in a circle with her legs. If she hits her opponent, they’ll trip up and be brought into the air as well. Juri then brings them back down with a ki imbued axe kick, quickly goes to the ground to catch them with another kick, caresses them, and then breaks their neck by slamming their head onto the ground.
- Sakkai Fuhazan: Juri activates her Feng Shui Engine and gathers ki around her feet before flipping forward and swinging both of her legs down, shooting a blade of ki at her opponent. The projectile loses its power the farther it travels and dissipates altogether if it hits nothing at all.
